ARSP volunteers also work in educational agencies like Holocaust Centers and organizations that teach the significance of the moral choices we make today.

Placing volunteers in American peace organizations has been another important area of ARSP's work. The volunteers learn about the history and the practice of non-violence. They gain awareness of the connection between activism for peace and the struggle for social justice.

"Having a young German who has a direct historical link with the Holocaust, who goes to high schools, colleges, churches and synagogues, explaining the significance for youngsters here in the United States to study and learn about this profound human event, has an impact that is unparalleled."
