The United Church of Christ (UCC) Volunteer Ministries provides visa sponsorship for ARSP volunteers in the United States.

We cooperate together with the German Embassy in Washington D.C. and the Consulate General in New York

ARSP is a member of the Council of Religious Volunteer Agencies, a broad, faith-based coalition of North American organizations (promoters, planners, users) of voluntary service. Rooted in the religious community, CRVA is an independent, non-profit association. Members include both local, community-based organizations that engage a small numbers of volunteers and national agencies that place thousands of volunteers annually.

We cooperated with the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York within the German-Jewish Dialogue Program 2008.

The Goethe Institute in Washington D.C. supported us with their facilities for ARSP seminars and events in the last few years.

Other Partners:

AVODAH - the Jewish service corps.

HILLEL - foundation for Jewish campus life.

The German Society of Pennsylvania

Netzwerk Philadelphia - The German Network of Philadelphia - Netzwerk Philadelphia's mission is to make the Philadelphia region a welcoming home to German-speakers of all backgrounds, a destination and resource for German speaking visitors and businesses, and a forum for dialogue between the United States and Europe.

"Atonement for the sins of our forebears is a relatively unexplored concept among U.S. citizens – even though there is much in our past that calls us to such searching. The willingness of ARSP volunteers to confront the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust and offer themselves in service to its victims, enriches beyond measure the UCC Volunteer Service Program and opens the door for U.S. volunteers to begin to explore the concept of atonement."

Susan Sanders, former Secretary for Voluntary Service, United Church of Christ, Board for Homeland Ministries
