Americans volunteering with ARSP in Germany

"We can only move forward by honestly acknowledging the past"

One year in Germany

My name is Amanda, and I am excited to be an ARSP volunteer at Buchenwald.
I graduated this spring from Middlebury College with degrees in History and German. I believe that history plays a very important role in societal progress; we can only move forward by honestly acknowledging the past. I studied abroad in Germany during my junior year and was fascinated by the way Germany openly approaches Holocaust history. I am excited to be able to explore this process of remembrance on a deeper level during my year of service!

Volunteering at the Sachsenhausen Museum and Memorial

One year in Germany

Hello !

My name is Roman Ebert. I am a recent graduate from the University of Iowa with a B.A in History and a B.A with honors in German. I will be doing a volunteer year with ARSP at Sachsenhausen Museum and Gedenkstätte. I am interested in German history and look forward to the opportunity to learn and understand more about the legacy of National Socialism in Germany and Europe while also providing others the resources to learn themselves. Thank you for your support.
